Autumn 2024 Shopping: Five Items On My Shopping List
Hello, ladies! As the leaves begin to turn yellow and the air grows crisp, we start to review our wardrobes and boudoirs. Here in Greece autumn isn’t as cold as up in the North, but we have already begun to feel that the weather is chilly. With the change of the weather comes change in how we look and feel. Women can’t help it; life is designed to be this way for us. So, today I am sharing five items I plan to buy this autumn in order to elevate my style.
Umbrellas. Umbrellas are essential for every woman’s purse in autumn. If we are out and about looking our best, we don’t want our outfits to be ruined by a sudden rainfall, do we? I love this Semi Line mini umbrella, which is economical, practical and able to fit in my purse!
Ankle boots. Protecting our feet from the mud and fallen leaves, ankle boots are a necessary part of our wardrobe. Personally, I prefer low-heeled ankle boots in black, brown or beige, shades that match perfectly with the dominant colours in my closet, namely white, black, brown, beige and green. I love these brown Caprice ankle boots, which look pretty, warm and very stable.
Long-sleeved shirts. Shirts are very important to me, thanks to their versatility. I wear them at a wide range of occasions, including scientific conferences, excursions, dinners and coffee dates. I combine them with blazers, sweaters, jeans, pencil trousers and more. I like buying different styles of shirts, but I really love those with cute little details. This white Hugo shirt with the details on the sleeve has caught my eye.
A black blazer. Just like shirts, blazers are important pieces in my wardrobe. Practical and elegant, they help me stay warm when it gets a bit chilly. Black, tailored blazers go literally with anything and can upgrade any garment that I wear. I love this elegant Ralph Lauren blazer, which will go perfect with my shirts.
A fitted trenchcoat. Able to elevate any outfit, the trenchcoat is a great, versatile piece of clothing. For the ladies in Greece it is a go-to piece both in autumn and spring, whereas we tend to wear it in occasions when we need to add an casual-smart extra layer. We wear it to church, to coffeedates, to visits, to lunches, to dinners. So many uses! I love this short Morgan trenchcoat, because it goes perfect with the long-sleeved shirts I plan to buy!
And there you have them! Five items I plan to buy for autumn 2024!
That’s it for now, ladies! Until next time, remember to shine bright!
